Ducati announces 2027 updates for Desmo450 MX motocross models
Ducati has announced updates for its Desmo450 MX and Desmo450 MX Factory motocross models for the 2027 model year. These changes are based on racing experience and aim to improve track performance, ergonomics, and durability.
Key technical modifications include a revised final drive with a 51-tooth rear sprocket, up from 49 teeth, to provide more torque and quicker acceleration out of corners. The motorcycles will also feature reinforced components, redesigned foot levers, a larger fuel tank opening, and new Pirelli Scorpion MX32 tires. Additionally, the models will introduce a predictive maintenance system to schedule engine service based on actual usage.
For the North American market, Ducati is offering a specific suspension setup featuring triple clamps with a 20 mm offset. However, the Desmo450 MX Factory version will not be available for sale in North America. Pricing for the 2027 Desmo450 MX starts at 12,990 euros, while the Factory version is priced at 15,990 euros.
