Ducati launches 2026 Monster V2 in India

Ducati has launched the fifth-generation 2026 Monster in India, featuring significant mechanical and structural updates. The motorcycle is available in two variants: the standard Monster, starting at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the higher-spec Monster+, priced from Rs 14.34 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new model is powered by an 890cc V2 engine utilizing Intake Variable Timing (IVT) to deliver 110.7 HP at 9000 rpm and 91.1 Nm of torque. The motorcycle features a monocoque chassis where the engine acts as a stressed member, resulting in a kerb weight of 175 kg, which is 4 kg lighter than its predecessor.

Technical specifications include Showa suspension (43 mm upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear), Brembo M4.32 radial calipers with twin 320 mm front discs, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires. The electronics package is equipped with a 6-axis IMU, providing cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0. Riders can select from four modes: Sport, Road, Urban, and Wet, all managed via a new 5-inch TFT display.
