Dusan Vlahovic joins Besiktas on free transfer from Juventus

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic has officially joined the Turkish club Besiktas on a free transfer following the conclusion of his contract with Juventus. The 26-year-old has signed a three-year deal that will run from the 2026/27 season through the end of the 2028/29 season.

Vlahovic is reported to earn a salary of 7.5 million euros per season, a decrease from his previous 12 million euro annual salary at Juventus. The move follows a breakdown in contract extension negotiations in Turin, where disagreements regarding salary reductions prevented a renewal.

At Besiktas, Vlahovic will reunite with coach Vincenzo Italiano, with whom he previously worked at Fiorentina. Upon his arrival in Istanbul, Vlahovic expressed his emotion regarding the intense reception from fans, stating, “I was moved because I have never seen such love before. I will give my all for the Besiktas fans.”
