Dusan Vlahovic rejects Besiktas offer, waits for Barcelona

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, who left Juventus after his contract expired, turned down a lucrative proposal from Turkish club Besiktas. The offer included a €5 million signing bonus and a net salary of €8 million per season for two years, but Vlahovic said his priority is joining a top European side.

Vlahovic has indicated that FC Barcelona remains his preferred destination. Barcelona’s ability to sign him is linked to the outcome of their pursuit of Argentine forward Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid; the club may focus on Alvarez before finalising any deal for Vlahovic. The striker is reportedly willing to lower his wage demands and accept a reduced bonus to secure a move to Catalonia. Juventus continue to monitor the situation and have not ruled out a possible return.
