Besiktas nears deal for Dusan Vlahovic with massive contract offer

Dusan Vlahovic, the former Juventus striker, is reportedly nearing a move to the Turkish club Besiktas. Following the expiration of his contract with Juventus, the 26-year-old free agent has shown increasing openness to the Istanbul-based side.

Besiktas has reportedly presented a substantial financial package, including a four-year contract with an annual net salary of approximately €10 million. The offer also includes a significant signing bonus, estimated to be worth an additional year's salary. Besiktas manager Vincenzo Italiano, who previously coached Vlahovic at Fiorentina, is playing a key role in the negotiations to bring the Serbian forward to Turkey.

However, the transfer faces potential hurdles due to high agent commissions. Reports indicate that Vlahovic's entourage has requested commissions ranging from €15 million to as much as €25 million, a factor that has reportedly deterred other interested clubs, including those in the Saudi Pro League and various top European leagues. While Besiktas remains the most concrete suitor, the final decision rests with Vlahovic as he weighs the Turkish offer against potential interest from clubs like Atletico Madrid.
