Dusan Vlahovic eyes Barcelona as Juventus contract nears expiry

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic's contract with Juventus ends on 30 June, and the club’s attempts to extend it have stalled. Juventus have offered a one‑year deal at around €8 million per season, but Vlahovic and his representatives have not responded. As a free agent, Vlahovic is being linked with several clubs.

Barcelona remain focused on signing Julian Álvarez as their primary target after Robert Lewandowski’s departure. Vlahovic has re‑offered himself to the Catalan side, positioning himself as a possible backup should Ferran Torres also leave. However, Barcelona consider his wage demands – roughly €8 million salary plus a €15 million signing bonus – too high for their current wage structure, and he is not the preferred number nine.

Besiktas in Turkey have emerged as the only concrete alternative, reportedly ready to meet Vlahovic’s financial expectations with a contract around €10 million per season and a signing bonus of €5‑15 million, totaling close to €30 million in commitments. Other clubs such as Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich have been mentioned in media speculation, but no formal offers have been confirmed.

Juventus are preparing a replacement forward, with Randal Kolo Muani cited as a potential addition, while Barcelona continue to negotiate for Álvarez and monitor the evolving situation.
