Dusit expands ASAI Hotels brand to Malaysia

Dusit Hotels and Resorts is expanding its lifestyle brand, ASAI Hotels, into Malaysia with the upcoming opening of ASAI Gamuda Cove. Scheduled to welcome guests on 15 September 2026, the 13-storey property will be the largest ASAI hotel to date and the brand’s first location situated outside of a city neighbourhood.

Located within the 1,530-acre Gamuda Cove township in Selangor, the hotel is approximately 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The site offers proximity to several nature and recreation landmarks, including the 1,111-acre Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands, the Wetlands Arboretum, and the SplashMania Waterpark. An electric tram network provides connectivity across the township’s commercial and recreational areas.

The hotel will feature 280 rooms designed for various traveler types, including compact rooms for solo travelers, balcony rooms, bunk-bed configurations, and two-room family suites capable of accommodating up to six guests.
