Dusit Hotels and Resorts is expanding its ASAI Hotels lifestyle brand into Malaysia with the opening of ASAI Gamuda Cove in Selangor. The 13-storey property, which serves as the brand’s first location situated outside of a city neighborhood, officially opened on 15 September 2026.

Located within the 1,530-acre Gamuda Cove township, the hotel is approximately 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The site is positioned near several nature and recreation landmarks, including the Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands, the Wetlands Arboretum, and SplashMania Waterpark. Connectivity within the township is provided by an electric tram network.

The hotel features 280 rooms designed to accommodate various traveler types, including compact rooms for solo travelers, balcony rooms, bunk-bed configurations, and two-room family suites that can accommodate up to six guests.

In addition to the ASAI brand expansion, Dusit International has announced the opening of Dusit Princess Ipoh on 1 October 2026. Owned by Plenitude Berhad, this 268-room property will be located in Perak state near the Perak Turf Club, targeting business and leisure travelers interested in the local culinary scene and limestone cave formations.
