Dusit International expands Malaysian hospitality presence

Dusit International is expanding its hospitality footprint in Malaysia with two new property developments.

ASAI Gamuda Cove, the Malaysian debut of Dusit’s affordable lifestyle brand, opened on 15 September in the Gamuda Cove township in Selangor. The 13-storey hotel features 280 rooms designed for practicality, including options for solo travelers, couples, and families. Located near the Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands and the Sepang International Circuit, the property emphasizes connection to the local natural landscape.

Additionally, Dusit Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of Dusit Princess Ipoh on 1 October 2026. Owned by Plenitude Berhad, the 268-room property will be located in Perak state near the Perak Turf Club. The hotel aims to cater to business and leisure travelers exploring Ipoh’s culinary scene and limestone cave formations.
