Dutch music festivals showcase local talent and school ensembles

The Klink‑Klaar mini‑festival will be held on Saturday 27 June 2026 at Nieuwe Meerbode in De Ronde Venen, Netherlands. The free event runs from 13:00 to 18:00 and features a range of performances—including classical harp and flute duos, blues, jazz, klezmer, folk and New Age music—spread across locations in De Ronde Venen and Uithoorn. Organized by Stichting Cultuurpunt Ronde Venen, the programme lets visitors cycle between up to five 30‑minute sets.

Separately, about 350 secondary‑school students from the Achterhoek region will join the professional Maestro European Pop Orchestra to perform at the Zwarte Cross festival on 19 July. Rehearsals are taking place in an industrial hall in Doetinchem as part of the Crosso Symphonica project, with the students set to play regional classics such as “Oerend Hard” and “’t Geet Hier Spoken”. The collaboration aims to involve the next generation in one of the Netherlands’ largest music festivals.
