Dutch towns announce free community festivals for summer 2026

The Hague’s Zeeheldenkwartier will host the Zeeheldenfestival from 8 to 11 July 2026 on Prins Hendrikplein. The neighbourhood celebration, running since 1981, offers music, street theatre, children’s activities and local food and drink. More than 200 volunteers are organising the event, which will remain free for all visitors, with a new online donation page to help cover costs.

Doetinchem’s ABC Festival is scheduled for 4 to 6 September 2026 on Waterstraatplein as part of the city’s Stadsfeest. The three‑day program features Americana, blues and country performances by national and international artists, with free entry for the public. The announced lineup includes acts such as Richville, Tim Birkenholz and the Robbert Fossen Band.
