Dutch towns host summer music events in June and July 2026

On Saturday 4 July 2026, singer‑songwriter Nina Ebbenhout and violinist Mae Wever will present their joint programme “De wereld in” at the Brinkhuis venue in Laren. The two Laren musicians first met at a school class‑party and later decided to combine Ebbenhout’s Dutch‑language songs with Wever’s classical violin work. Ebbenhout said, “We raakten op die klassenborrel aan de praat over muziek …” as they prepared this first joint performance in their hometown.

A week earlier, on Saturday 27 June 2026, house Zypendaal in Arnhem will open its doors for an evening open‑house event. Visitors can wander the historic house while the folk group Wachtend op de Zomer provides live music, creating a relaxed atmosphere that blends old and new songs.

Both events are part of a series of local cultural programmes scheduled for the start of the Dutch summer vacation.
