Dwatch Director arrested for selling counterfeit luxury goods

Ho Chi Minh City police have arrested Tran Trung Du, Director of Dwatch Trading Service Company Limited, for infringing on industrial property rights. Authorities discovered a large quantity of counterfeit luxury watches and jewelry being sold under protected brands, including Rolex, Hermes, Richard Mille, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Omega, and Hublot.

During an inspection of the company located on Go Dau Street, investigators found unused goods lacking proper labeling, invoices, or documentation. The total value of the counterfeit merchandise is estimated to be over 2.5 billion VND. Du admitted to being aware of the brand protections while operating the business.
