DWS Group to adopt Deutsche Asset Management brand

DWS Group has announced a strategic rebranding initiative to transition its global umbrella brand to ‘Deutsche Asset Management’. The rollout is scheduled to begin in November and is expected to be completed by March 2027.

The rebranding aims to strengthen the connection between the asset manager and its parent company's brand identity while maintaining its existing operational and legal structures. Despite the change in the umbrella brand, the company’s stock ticker ‘DWS’ will remain unchanged.

Specific product brands will continue to operate under their current names: actively managed funds will retain the ‘DWS’ name, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will continue under the ‘Xtrackers’ brand, and US real estate investments will remain under ‘RREEF’.

In related market news, analysts at Jefferies have upgraded the DWS stock from ‘Hold’ to ‘Buy’, citing positive outlooks for the company.
