Dynasty series returns to Serbian television

The original television series ‘Dynasty’ (1981–1989) is set to return to Serbian screens on Kurir TV. The broadcast is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 14, airing on weekdays at 23:10.

Known for its portrayal of extreme wealth, luxury villas, and family intrigue, the series became a symbol of the 1980s. It was originally developed by the American network ABC as a direct competitor to the CBS series ‘Dallas’. While ‘Dallas’ depicted ‘old wealth’ through Texas oil and ranches, ‘Dynasty’ focused on ‘new wealth’ in Denver, Colorado, characterized by high fashion, caviar, and European-style villas.

The production was noted for its high costs, including a costume budget that saw no outfit repeated twice, managed by costume designer Nolan Miller.
