Dynasty TV series returns to Serbian television

The classic American television series “Dynasty” is returning to Serbian screens on Kurir TV after more than thirty years. The show, which follows the lives, intrigues, and power struggles of the wealthy Carrington family in Denver, Colorado, originally gained massive popularity during the 1980s.

Fashion played a central role in the series' cultural impact. Designer and Bazaar editor-in-chief Suzana Perić notes that the show's aesthetic—characterized by glamorous dresses, bold colors, and sculptural silhouettes—served as a significant turning point in fashion, using clothing as a tool for communication and identity. The styles of characters like Alexis and Krystal Carrington remain influential in modern design.

Originally created by Richard and Esther Shapiro and produced by Aaron Spelling, “Dynasty” won a Golden Globe for Best Drama Series in 1983. The series will air on Kurir TV on weekdays at 17:00 and 23:10.
