DYPA Career Days in Thessaloniki attract over 5,000 participants
The Public Employment Service (DYPA) Career Days in Thessaloniki concluded on September 11 and 12 with significant participation. The event attracted 5,124 citizens seeking new job opportunities and facilitated hundreds of meetings between candidates and representatives from over 100 companies.
During the two-day event, a total of 6,025 resumes matching the requirements of the available positions were recorded. Notably, 932 candidates successfully advanced to a second interview, bringing them closer to potential employment. Participating businesses reported positive feedback regarding the candidates, describing them as well-trained, prepared, and possessing clear professional orientation.
The initiative allowed citizens to meet employers directly without pre-arranged appointments, while helping companies identify qualified personnel. DYPA intends to continue these Career Days across the country to expand employment opportunities and support businesses in their search for human resources.
