DYPA opens apprenticeship applications for 2026-2027 school year

The Public Employment Service (DYPA) has opened a new application period for vacant positions in its Vocational Apprenticeship Schools (EPAS) and specialized programs for the 2026-2027 school year. Applications must be submitted electronically via gov.gr by September 29, 2026, at 23:59.

Eligible applicants are youths aged 15 to 29 who hold at least a middle school diploma. The apprenticeship program lasts two years and utilizes a dual system that combines theoretical classroom instruction with paid practical training in the workplace. Weekly stipends are set at 130 euros for four days of apprenticeship or 163 euros for five days.

Additionally, there is an extended deadline until October 18 for applications regarding seven Experimental Vocational Schools (PEPAS) focusing on tourism and hospitality. These programs cover specialties such as hotel reception, culinary arts, and catering, operating in cities including Athens, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Heraklion, Mytilene, Patras, and Rhodes. Participants in these programs may also be eligible for housing and meal allowances based on specific income criteria.
