DYPA reports 77% employment rate for vocational school graduates

Gianna Hormova, Governor of the Public Employment Service (DYPA), stated that over 77% of graduates from DYPA's vocational schools are immediately absorbed into the labor market. The agency has focused on strengthening technical professions to meet high market demand and provide competitive salaries.

DYPA's Vocational Apprenticeship Schools (EPAS) operate across 50 locations nationwide, offering 37 specialties. These range from traditional trades like electricians and plumbers to modern fields such as CNC operators, automation technicians, and cybersecurity specialists, as well as health and beauty sectors.

The apprenticeship system involves two years of simultaneous training in both a school setting and the workplace. This program is paid and insured, with accumulated credits recognized as professional experience for obtaining necessary licenses. Through cooperation memorandums with major businesses, DYPA aims to ensure students gain practical experience, often leading to permanent employment upon completion.
