Dyson CameraJet toothbrush faces technical issues after launch

Dyson has entered the oral care market with the CameraJet, an electric toothbrush featuring a 100,000-pixel macro lens and Gap Optical Targeting technology. The device uses AI to detect gaps between teeth and deliver a conical jet of water or mouthwash to remove plaque.

However, shortly after its launch, users reported significant technical issues. Reports indicate that water can leak into the battery compartment, causing devices to stop functioning within seconds of use. Consequently, the product has begun disappearing from online storefronts and retail shelves in several regions, including France, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and the United States.

Dyson has acknowledged a problem with a single component affecting a small portion of the initial production batches. While the company states it is assisting affected customers and has isolated the problematic units, it has not issued a formal product recall or specified which component is defective.
