Dyson has entered the oral hygiene market with the introduction of the CameraJet, an AI-powered dental care station. Pricing is established at approximately $499 in the US, £419.99 in the UK, 430 euros in Europe, and 9,999 Mexican pesos in Mexico. The product is available in various finishes, including Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink.

While Dyson reports that independent tests showed the CameraJet removed up to 69 percent more plaque than other premium electric toothbrushes, the product has met with mixed reactions. Some experts and consumers have raised concerns regarding the high price point and the practical necessity of the device. Additionally, dentists have questioned the efficacy of the small 12.5ml liquid reservoir and whether the camera's visibility remains sufficient through toothpaste foam for effective clinical use.

At the IFA 2026 technology show, Dyson further detailed the device’s capabilities, noting that the machine learning model driving the targeting technology was trained on over 470,000 dental images. To address privacy concerns, Dyson clarified that images are not stored on the device or in the cloud. The launch has also drawn competitive attention; Colgate released an advertisement mocking the high-tech approach by promoting a traditional toothbrush as a simpler alternative.
