Düzce holds ceremony for 108 Quran memorization graduates

A ceremony was held in Düzce for 108 students to receive their hafizlık (Quran memorization) certificates. The event was organized under the auspices of the Governor's Office in cooperation with the Provincial Mufti's Office and the Provincial Directorate of National Education.

The students completed their training at the July 15 Martyrs Male Quran Course and the Düzce Science and Technology Hafiz Anatolian Imam Hatip High School. The program included Quranic recitations, a video presentation regarding the memorization process, and hymns performed by the Düzce Provincial Mufti's Office choir.

Düzce Governor Mehmet Makas spoke at the event, emphasizing the importance of youth who value national and spiritual values. İbrahim Yılmaz, Head of the Hafiz Services Department of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, noted that memorization should be paired with scientific knowledge and technology, citing historical figures as examples.
