EA SPORTS FC 27 adds Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond Women
Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have renewed their partnership to bring the fictional football universe of Ted Lasso back to EA SPORTS FC 27. This new crossover expands on previous iterations by introducing the AFC Richmond Women’s squad, known as the Lady Greyhounds, as a fully playable team in the Women’s Rest of World category.
Players can access the Lady Greyhounds across multiple game modes, including Kick Off, Online Seasons, Career Mode, and Football Ultimate Team. The update also features the return of the iconic Nelson Road stadium, often referred to as the ‘Dog Track.’
In Manager Career Mode, players can take on the role of Ted Lasso to manage the women’s team. The integration includes enhanced features such as dedicated cutscenes, touchline reactions, tailored social media story feeds, and specific club challenges to provide a more immersive experience.
