EA Sports FC 27 launches new open‑world mode “The Grounds”
EA Sports FC 27 introduces a new game mode called “The Grounds”, an online open‑world hub where players can roam, use emotes, display their kits and join various match types. The mode can be played solo or through the existing Clubs feature.
Players can drop into three‑v‑three matches with unknown teammates, as well as eleven‑v‑eleven matches and seasonal tournaments. New club objectives give clubs incentives to cooperate or compete for unique rewards. Developers said the mode addresses three core player requests: more ways to play together, more ways to build a football identity, and more ways to experience football culture on and off the pitch.
The preview of “The Grounds” was conducted in Vancouver, Canada, and the game is slated for release in September. Promotional material features French forward Kylian Mbappé.
