Overview

Electronic Arts confirmed on 22 July 2026 that French forward Kylian Mbappé will front the cover of EA SPORTS FC 27. The game is slated for a worldwide release on 25 September 2026 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and the forthcoming Switch 2. Pre‑orders opened in late July, and purchasers of the Ultimate or limited‑time Ultimate Plus editions receive early access beginning 18 September (console access at 00:00 CET, PC at 01:00 CET). EA Play and EA Play Pro members also gain a 10‑hour trial before full launch.

The new open‑world social hub “The Grounds” expands the Clubs experience with street‑football matches, avatar customization and mentorship from Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, Chloe Kelly, Paulo Dybala and returning Alex Hunter. Career mode’s transfer market has been rebuilt using TransferRoom data, and Ultimate Team adds a FUT Gallery for historic card collections.

Three editions are offered: Standard ($69.99), Ultimate ($99.99) and Ultimate Plus (≈$150‑€160, $149.99 in the U.S.), the latter bundling up to 10 000 FC Points, Premium Passes for Seasons 1‑5, a Hall‑of‑FUT player pick and other exclusive items. The Ultimate Plus cover features both Mbappé and Bellingham; the Standard and Ultimate covers also display their images. Pricing details released on 23 July note that in Turkey the Standard edition retails around 3 999 TRY and the Ultimate Plus edition up to 7 999 TRY, with similar figures listed on Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC.
