EA Sports FC 27 Global Launch Set for September 25 2026
Electronic Arts announced that EA Sports FC 27 will launch worldwide on 25 September 2026. The new football title will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Three paid editions – Standard, Ultimate and Ultimate Plus – will be sold, with the Ultimate Plus version offering early access from 18 September and a range of extra content such as 10 000 FC Points and Hall‑of‑FUT player picks. A free Lite version will also be released on the launch day, providing a limited demo that includes only the Kick‑Off mode while omitting Ultimate Team, Career and the new open‑world social hub.
The game introduces a new open‑world mode called “The Grounds”, a shared online playground where players can roam three regional districts, take part in street‑style matches and interact with mentors. The Grounds will be playable on next‑gen consoles and PC but not on last‑generation platforms. Additional features include over 21 000 footballers, 800 clubs, 140 stadiums and 35 leagues, as well as a FUT Gallery for Ultimate Team. Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham appear on the Ultimate Plus cover. A closed beta will run from 5 August to 25 August 2026 for a limited set of players.
