Eastern Economic Forum 2026 to host representatives from over 70 countries

Representatives from more than 70 countries and territories have confirmed their attendance at the 2026 Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). The event is scheduled to take place from September 1 to September 4 at the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok.

Delegations include representatives from China, India, Mongolia, Japan, and South Korea. Anton Kobyakov, an advisor to the Russian President and Secretary of the EEF Organizing Committee, noted that the high level of interest underscores the forum's global nature and its role as a tool for building international trust and practical cooperation.

The 2026 program will focus on the development of the Far East region, covering topics such as human resource development, culture, and the creative economy. Specific sessions include a forum on creative industries on September 1, a discussion on social inclusion as a development resource on September 2, and a session on investment strategies and financial mechanisms for creative projects on September 3.
