EBU extends major cycling broadcasting rights through 2032
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has extended its agreement with Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) and Unipublic to broadcast major cycling events through 2032. This extension covers both men’s and women’s editions of premier races, including the Tour de France, the Tour de France Femmes, and the Vuelta a España.
In addition to the Grand Tours, the agreement includes coverage of classic races such as Paris-Roubaix and Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Eurosport will continue its role as a primary broadcaster across 50 markets, with coverage available in Italy via HBO Max and discovery+. In the United Kingdom and Ireland, TNT Sports will provide coverage under the EBU license.
Julien Goupil, Media Director at ASO, stated that the alliance aims to ensure these cycling events remain accessible to the widest possible audience across Europe and various platforms.
