Mexico reports multiple fatalities: Tijuana body discoveries and drownings in Tamasopo
A series of violent incidents has been reported across different regions of Mexico. In Tijuana, a wave of violence has left residents in panic after five bodies were discovered in the trunks of abandoned vehicles in the Hipódromo and Lomas de Agua Caliente areas within a 48-hour period. Some of the victims showed signs of violence, and local community leaders report that the insecurity has caused a 40 percent drop in local business sales.
In Tamasopo, a father and his 15-year-old son died after drowning in a local dam. Preliminary reports suggest the teenager struggled in deep water, prompting his father to attempt a rescue.
Additionally, in the municipality of Cuauhtémoc, two men who had been missing since Saturday were found dead inside a dam in the Álvaro Obregón section. Authorities used drones and specialized equipment to locate the bodies.
