State of Mexico municipalities implement major infrastructure and utility upgrades

Municipalities across the State of Mexico are undergoing significant infrastructure improvements. In Ecatepec, the Plan Oriente, an initiative supported by President Claudia Sheinbaum, has directed over 3 billion pesos toward the region. This investment has increased water network coverage from 35 percent to 80 percent through the rehabilitation of 71 wells and the construction of the Ciudad Cuauhtémoc Master Tank. Additionally, the plan includes the rehabilitation of 444 kilometers of roads and the creation of 305 safe pathways.

Other regional developments include the completion of repaving projects in Huixquilucan, specifically on the La Marquesa-Huixquilucan highway and within the La Herradura and Tecamachalco residential areas. In Tlalnepantla, the government rehabilitated five roads in San Lucas Patoni, integrating new drainage and potable water networks. Meanwhile, the CUSAEM security corps in Lerma announced the regularization of debts with ISSEMyM and the implementation of new professional career paths for its personnel.
