Haute‑Garonne launches extensive 31 notes d’été summer festival

The 28th edition of the 31 notes d’été festival begins on 1 August 2026, turning the Haute‑Garonne department into a large open‑air stage until 29 August. Organized by the Conseil départemental de la Haute‑Garonne in partnership with Haute‑Garonne Tourisme and more than a hundred local partners, the programme offers around 200 free events across 17 communes and 18 iconic venues.

Each day combines cultural visits, a "guinguette" pause with live music and local food, and an evening artistic highlight. The opening takes place at Le Faget, followed the next day by performances at the Château de Laréole. Highlights include a concert by the Franco‑Canadian group Atomic Ping Pong, numerous concerts (about 40), exhibitions (around 15), and over 100 guided tours. Approximately 95 % of the artists and companies featured are from the Haute‑Garonne, emphasizing local talent.

The festival is billed as free to the public, aiming to promote regional heritage, tourism, and the vibrant music scene while offering a diverse, family‑friendly itinerary throughout the summer.
