Economic developments reported in Petrópolis and Apucarana
In Petrópolis, the Fazendas Secretário high-end residential development has completed its first phase, Fazenda Aroeira. The complex spans 10 million square meters and is attracting significant interest from residents of Rio de Janeiro's Barra da Tijuca and Zona Sul, who account for 70% of buyers. Lots starting at 1,200 square meters are priced at an average of R$ 800,000.
Meanwhile, in Apucarana, five companies have been granted land in the Juruba Industrial Park through the Apucarana Economic Development Program (Prodea). This initiative, sanctioned by Mayor Rodolfo Mota, involves the transfer of nearly 8,000 square meters of industrial area. The move is projected to generate R$ 9.1 million in initial investments and create 112 direct jobs.
