EcoPro HN to supply greenhouse gas reduction equipment in Idaho
EcoPro HN has signed a contract worth approximately 21 billion won ($15.06 million) to supply large-capacity greenhouse gas reduction equipment to Hoffman Construction, a US-based general construction and engineering firm. The equipment will be installed at a semiconductor production facility in Idaho, USA.
The contract, which represents about 15% of EcoPro HN’s total revenue from the previous year, is scheduled for delivery between August 2026 and July 2027. The technology focuses on treating perfluorocompounds (PFCs), which have a global warming potential thousands to tens of thousands of times higher than CO2.
EcoPro HN’s proprietary system utilizes catalyst-based low-temperature decomposition technology. Operating at approximately 750–800°C, the system reduces energy consumption by about 95% compared to traditional thermal decomposition methods that require 1300–1400°C, while maintaining high removal efficiency. The company aims to expand its presence in the North American semiconductor market as investment in production facilities grows alongside the AI industry.
