EcoPro HN semiconductor equipment supply in Idaho

South Korean clean-technology firm EcoPro HN is expanding its presence in the North American semiconductor market through equipment supply contracts for facilities in Idaho, USA.

In late July 2026, the company entered final negotiations for a potential contract valued between 2 and 2.5 trillion won (approximately $1.5 billion) to provide Regenerative Catalytic System (RCS) units and clean-room chemical filters for Micron Technology’s ID1 and ID2 fabrication plants. This technology is designed to lower exhaust-gas treatment temperatures and recover heat to reduce energy costs.

By late August 2026, EcoPro HN confirmed a signed contract worth approximately 21 billion won ($15.06 million) with Hoffman Construction. This agreement involves supplying large-capacity greenhouse gas reduction equipment to a semiconductor production facility in Idaho. The equipment, which utilizes catalyst-based low-temperature decomposition technology to treat perfluorocompounds (PFCs), is scheduled for delivery between August 2026 and July 2027.
