Ecuador Ministry of Public Health invests over $41 million in hospital infrastructure

The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) in Ecuador has reported investments exceeding $41 million for hospital works, maintenance, and related projects within the country's public health network for the 2023-2026 period.

Maintenance efforts include 129 health establishments across 18 provinces, such as Azuay, Guayas, and Pichincha, with an investment of $11.8 million. Additionally, $13.73 million has been allocated to 32 completed and delivered projects involving 34 health establishments across 14 provinces.

These interventions focus on the rehabilitation and improvement of clinical areas, including dental and general medicine offices, immunization zones, sample collection areas, climate control systems, biosafety, and universal accessibility.
