Ecuador presents National Agenda for Gender Equality 2025–2029
The National Agenda for Gender Equality (ANIG) 2025–2029 has been presented to the highest authorities of the Ecuadorian justice system. The presentation took place at the National Court of Justice and included key officials such as the President of the Judiciary Council, Mercedes Caicedo, and the Minister of Government, Nataly Morillo.
Developed through a participatory process involving women and LGBTI+ individuals across various regions of Ecuador, the Agenda serves as a national public policy instrument. It aims to guarantee rights, improve access to justice, and strengthen state responses to violence and discrimination. The initiative focuses on the responsibility of public institutions to implement policies that reduce gender inequalities.
