Ecuador President Daniel Noboa's Approval Falls to About 21% in July Polls

A national study conducted by the polling firm NUMMA in early July surveyed 3,720 adults in 12 Ecuadorian cities. It found that 36 % of respondents held a positive view of President Daniel Noboa, with 9 % rating his performance as “very good” and 27 % as “good.”

A separate poll carried out by the Center for Electoral Studies (Ciees) at the end of July, interviewing 820 people in Quito and Guayaquil, reported a sharper decline, with overall approval dropping to roughly 21 %. Positive trust stood at 27 % while 73 % expressed a negative view. Support fell from 29 % to 23 % in Quito and from 22 % to 19 % in Guayaquil. The survey also revealed widespread pessimism, citing insecurity as the top concern for more than half of respondents.
