Ecuador's IESS Holds Extraordinary Service Day in Quito on July 25

The Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social (IESS) will conduct an extraordinary citizen service day on Saturday, 25 July 2026, at the Universal Attention Center (CAU) in the main IESS building in Quito, located at the intersection of Av. 10 de Agosto and Bogotá Street. The center will operate continuously from 08:00 to 13:00, offering more than 30 in‑person procedures, including personal data updates, employer key generation, voluntary/junior/independent affiliation, certificate requests for pensioners, rights validation, dependent registration, individual account queries for unemployment and reserve funds, monetary subsidy processing, and validation of late medical certificates. Employers attending will receive personalized advisory assistance. IESS urges users to schedule appointments in advance through its portal, selecting the Pichincha province and the “CAU DP N3 Pichincha” point, and notes that priority‑group clients will receive support via the “Yo Te Guío” service. Medical appointments and fully digital procedures remain unavailable at the center.
