Ecuador's Jóvenes en Acción program launches job portal registration drive
The third edition of Ecuador's Jóvenes en Acción program has placed more than 150,000 young people in paid three‑month internships with a $400 monthly stipend. As the internships end, the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES) and the Ministry of Human Development are urging participants to register their résumés on the state‑run Encuentra Empleo portal. The platform lets users create an account, upload a CV and browse public‑sector job vacancies, allowing the youth to continue their transition into formal employment.
The initiative aims to sustain the labor‑market entry of the program’s beneficiaries by consolidating new job offers in one digital hub and simplifying the application process for both job seekers and hiring institutions.
