In September, the government expanded these efforts with the ‘Feria Encuentra Empleo Quito 2026’ at the Los Quitus Coliseum. This event featured over 70 private companies—including Arca Continental, McDonald’s, and Claro—offering approximately 3,000 vacancies in sectors such as technology, health, and logistics. The Ministry also provided labor inspectors to advise on contracts and wages.

Simultaneously, a growing number of Ecuadorian professionals are pursuing international roles, specifically within the cruise industry. As of August 2026, over 2,500 individuals have registered with the ISMBR Agency to work for global companies like Disney Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International.
