EDP Renewables sells wind farms in Poland, Greece and US solar‑storage portfolio
EDP Renewables announced the sale of a 100% stake in a 166 MWac wind and solar portfolio in Poland to Public Power Corporation for an estimated enterprise value of €250 million, and the sale of a 100% stake in a 58 MW wind portfolio in Greece to Faria Renewables for an estimated €120 million. Both transactions are subject to customary regulatory and closing conditions, with completion expected during 2026.
Separately, the company agreed to sell an 80% equity stake in a 384 MW solar and battery‑storage portfolio in California to an Ares Infrastructure Equity fund. The portfolio, comprising 200 MW of solar and 184 MW of storage, carries a 20‑year power‑purchase agreement and a 20‑year capacity‑tolling agreement, respectively, and is valued at $800 million for 100% of the assets. EDP Renewables expects to receive about $450 million in proceeds, half at financial close and the remainder when the assets become operational between 2026 and 2028.
