Eduardo Gomes aligns with Flávio Bolsonaro movement in Tocantins
Senator Eduardo Gomes met with members of the “O Tocantins é Flávio Bolsonaro” movement in Palmas to coordinate political actions. The group, composed of volunteer entrepreneurs and professionals, aims to support Flávio Bolsonaro’s presidential ambitions. Gomes stated that Jair Bolsonaro has successfully transferred his voter base to Flávio, noting a growing trend among independent voters.
Luiz Pastore, a candidate for first substitute in Eduardo Gomes’s Senate ticket in Tocantins, has been identified as one of the wealthiest candidates in the current election. Pastore declared assets totaling R$ 677.74 million to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).
Pastore, the chairman of Grupo Ibrame, previously gained attention for owning the private jet that transported Supreme Court Minister Dias Toffoli to Peru in 2025. The trip coincided with Toffoli becoming the rapporteur for the “Caso Master” at the Supreme Court, a role he later relinquished following internal institutional scrutiny.
