Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas advances technology and professional placement

The Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) has implemented several institutional advancements involving technology and professional placement. Under the leadership of Rector Dámaso Anaya Alvarado, the university has established a historic agreement with the Órgano de Administración Judicial (OAJ) of the Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación. This partnership has resulted in the first generation of nine graduates from Ciudad Victoria, Nuevo Laredo, and Tampico joining the judicial service.

In terms of technological modernization, the UAT developed AurIA, an artificial intelligence assistant designed to optimize financial information systems and administrative processes. Developed in collaboration with Microsoft using tools like Microsoft Copilot and SQL Server, AurIA is specifically trained on university regulations and national accounting guidelines to provide legal certainty in its responses.

Additionally, the UAT participated in the Regional Northeast Forum organized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) to address the impact of digital devices on youth. The university reaffirmed its commitment to fostering ethical digital citizenship and safe digital environments through collaboration with federal and state governments.
