Education ministries in Argentina and Mexico promote final‑year school initiatives
In Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, the provincial Ministry of Education, through the Secretariat of Inclusion Policies, organized a cinema‑debate cycle and workshops on comprehensive sexual education for secondary‑school students. The programme, part of the Provincial Comprehensive Sexual Education (ESI) plan, included artistic projects by students and will be followed by activities for primary‑school pupils focusing on cyber‑bullying prevention and responsible use of information technologies.
In Mexico, Secretary of Public Education Mario Delgado Carrillo urged educational authorities, teachers, parents and students to make the most of the remaining days of the 2025‑2026 school cycle. He called for a coordinated effort to ensure an orderly closure, the return of teachers on strike, timely delivery of final grades and documentation, and emphasized the right to education as a top government priority.
