Educational institutions in Argentina host science and cultural activities
Educational and cultural institutions in Argentina are hosting activities focused on science and ancestral traditions.
The Interactive Science Museum (MCI) at the National University of Córdoba (UNC) has launched a digital store for Children's Day. The initiative offers various scientific experiment kits, such as 'Color' and 'Slime' kits, as well as periodic table card games and chemistry-themed mugs. Sales are available online until August 14, with in-person pickups scheduled for August 13 and 14 at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences.
In Olavarría, the Municipal Museum of Sciences 'Ing. Rita Toniutti' is hosting the 'Constellations of the Pachamama' event at the La Máxima Educational and Recreational Polo. The program includes oral storytelling regarding the 'Legend of the Yacana' and a practical workshop where families can build artisanal constellation viewers. The activity aims to connect science and art by exploring Andean cosmovision, specifically how dark constellations in the Milky Way were used to track climatic cycles and agricultural seasons.
