Educational programs launched in Spain and Ecuador

Various educational opportunities have been announced in Spain and Ecuador. In Spain, the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) is offering free online courses in areas such as digital skills, cybersecurity, marketing, and administration. These programs are available to unemployed individuals, workers, and the self-employed.

Additionally, in the Extremadura region of Spain, 217 adult education programs have been launched across more than one hundred municipalities. The offer includes preparation for ESO (Secondary Education) titles, basic competency acquisition, foreign languages, and access exams for vocational training and university. The regional government has allocated over 553,000 euros for these programs for the 2026/2027 academic year.

In Ecuador, the public education system has opened approximately 4,000 spots for virtual distance learning. This program allows students to complete levels ranging from basic education to the third year of Bachillerato. The initiative includes specialized support for deaf students through sign language interpreters. Interested applicants in Ecuador must be over 18 and register at their local Educational District office by October 30, 2026.
