Educational scholarship opportunities announced in Italy

Two distinct scholarship initiatives have been announced in Italy to support students and young professionals.

The University of Teramo is offering 14 annual scholarships as part of the ‘Insieme Abruzzo’ project. This program, funded by the Abruzzo Region through the 2021-2027 Cohesion and Development Fund, aims to involve students and recent graduates in addressing social and health service organization issues. The funding includes 10 scholarships of 800 euros per month for university students and 4 scholarships of 1,000 euros per month for recent graduates from the Departments of Law and Political Science. The application deadline is November 3, 2026.

Separately, the Rome Chamber of Commerce has launched the 2026 ITS Academy call, providing 200 scholarships of 1,000 euros each for first-year students enrolled in Higher Technological Institutes (ITS) in Rome and its province. This initiative, which doubles the number of scholarships available in 2025, has a total budget of 200,000 euros. The grants are non-repayable and intended to support technical training aligned with local business needs. Applications can be submitted via PEC from October 30 to December 18, 2026.
