Educational scholarship programs announced in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia

Educational institutions and foundations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia have announced scholarship programs for the 2026/2027 academic year.

In Travnik and Novi Travnik, the Hastor Foundation signed contracts with 91 scholarship recipients from primary and secondary schools. To mark its 20th anniversary, the foundation increased scholarship amounts by 20 percent. Monthly payments will be 120.00 KM for primary school students, 180.00 KM for high school students, and 300.00 KM for university students. The program combines financial aid with a mentorship component to support personal and professional development.

In Zadar, Croatia, the General Hospital Zadar has opened applications for 43 scholarships targeting medical and hospitality students. Monthly amounts are set at 200 EUR for medical students and 150 EUR for culinary students. Recipients are required to commit to working at the Zadar hospital for a period twice as long as the duration of their scholarship following the completion of their studies.
