Educational training programs launched in Chad and Burkina Faso

Educational initiatives are underway in Chad and Burkina Faso to enhance teaching quality and implement curriculum reforms ahead of the upcoming school year.

In the Mandoul region of Chad, the Francophone Initiative for Distance Learning for Teachers (IFADEM) is conducting a training program for community teachers. Supported by Swiss Cooperation, the initiative aims to provide educators with innovative pedagogical methods and tools to improve student learning outcomes. The program is part of a broader Chadian government effort to train 9,200 community teachers nationwide.

In the Nahouri province of Burkina Faso, secondary school teachers have begun pedagogical animation days in Pô. These sessions focus on implementing new reforms centered on professional training, scientific education, and technological instruction. The goal is to better prepare students for socio-economic integration by aligning their education with specific professional profiles and aspirations.
