Educational workshops for children launched in Braila and Brasov

Various educational initiatives for children are being implemented in the Romanian counties of Braila and Brasov.

In Braila, the Panait Istrati County Library is hosting the EmoKid emotional education workshop. Coordinated by personal development counselor Mari Tatomir, the program uses interactive games, stories, and group activities to help children aged 7 to 10 recognize, understand, and express their emotions. The initiative aims to foster self-confidence, empathy, and communication skills.

In Brasov, the George Barițiu County Library, in collaboration with the County Police Inspectorate and the County School Inspectorate, has launched a long-term educational project running through August 2027. This initiative focuses on bullying prevention, online safety, and violence prevention. Through interactive meetings and competitions, students will learn to identify risk situations, manage conflicts, and practice social responsibility. The project began in early November 2026 with activities involving students from Vulcan and Bran primary schools.
